We believe there’s a need, and a desire, for a true community bank: where tellers know their customers by name; bankers frequent local businesses; and the bank invests in the neighborhood it calls home.

A Simple Beginning


In 1991, Wintrust’s founders set up shop in a northern Chicago suburb with a simple idea: to provide an alternative to the big banks. Now, more than 30 years and 175 locations later, we’ve stayed true to that original mission.

Why Bank With Us?

We believe in going the extra mile. (Or in this case, more than 1,300.) We’re excited to open Wintrust Banking Center, our first location outside of our Chicago-area footprint. Why are we here? Because this is where our customers are. We heard from customers who call Naples, Florida home for at least part of the year, that a location here would help meet their banking needs. So, here we are. But, that doesn’t mean we are any less committed to serving the entire Naples community. In fact, it’s a decision that truly illustrates our customer focus. We’re ready to get to know Naples so we can be an asset to this area.
